Jaspal is a partner in CMS’s corporate tax team specialising in employee incentives.
He has extensive experience of advising on a range of corporate tax and incentives issues, including scheme design and implementation, capital markets transactions, mergers & acquisitions, corporate structuring, company reorganisations, employee ownership trusts and disputes with HM Revenue and Customs.
He advises both employers and senior management on employee share schemes and management incentivisation arrangements and is the co-chair of the tax committee of the Share Plan Lawyers Group. His clients include listed companies, private equity, large and mid-tier corporates, owner managed businesses, partnerships and LLP’s and individuals in a wide range of industry sectors in the UK and overseas.
Jaspal has written a number of articles and has taken part in Government consultations on tax and share schemes.
